Don’t miss this opportunity to study flamenco guitar with Casa Flamenca’s world-renowned artist-in-residence, Juani de la Isla. If you are interested in flamenco guitar, this workshop is perfect for you whether you are a beginner or already an accomplished guitarist. This is a series of 4 one-hour workshop classes.

Juani de la Isla is a world-renowned flamenco guitarist from Isla San Fernando in southern Spain. He began his musical education studying with the great flamenco singer Rafael Romero, has been a student of the celebrated flamenco guitarist Manolo Sanlúcar, and has also been trained in the gypsy flamenco style of Morón – a small pueblo in the heart of Andalusia’s flamenco country. He has accompanied and composed for some of the greatest flamenco artists of this century. For over a decade, he was Musical Director for the popular flamenco singer “El Barrio”. His recording career includes participation on more than 100 albums with some of Spain’s finest flamenco artists as well as his solo CD, Libertad en Mis Manos.
