Juani de la Isla is a world-renowned flamenco guitarist from Isla San Fernando in southern Spain. He began his musical education studying with the great flamenco singer Rafael Romero, has been a student of the celebrated flamenco guitarist Manolo Sanlúcar, and has also been trained in the gypsy flamenco style of Morón – a small pueblo in the heart of Andalusia’s flamenco country. He has accompanied and composed for some of the greatest flamenco artists of this century. For over a decade, he was Musical Director for the popular flamenco singer “El Barrio”. His recording career includes participation on more than 100 albums with some of Spain’s finest flamenco artists as well as his solo CD, Libertad en Mis Manos.

Miguel Rosendo, cantaor from Cádiz, was born in Barrio de la Viña, famed for being steeped in the art of flamenco and flamenco cante. Miguel performs in the most popular flamenco tablaos in Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville and is known for his powerful, rhythmic voice, unique in its resonant quality and echo. He has been the singer for many major companies such as Cristina Hoyos, Manuela Carrasco, Pastora and Israel Galvan, Juan and Pilar Ogalla, Javier Baron, Andres Pena, and Javier La Torre amongst many others. He performs regularly in Sara Baras productions, participates in the grandest events and festivals in Spain, and tours worldwide.

Jesús Helmo Cortés was born in Cádiz, Spain and began his formal dance training when he was 9 years old. He has received training from and has worked with numerous highly regarded flamenco bailaores from Cádiz, Jerez, and Sevilla. Jesús studied at the Conservatory of Dance of Cádiz with a concentration in Baile Flamenco, also venturing into other styles such as the Escuela Bolera, contemporary or stylized dance. A highlight of his professional career includes the National Award for Alegrías Dance of the Perla de Cádiz (2002) when he was only 18 years old. He has also won numerous awards and distinctions including being a 2019 finalist at the Flamenco Puro (“Pure Flamenco”) of Turín at the Jerez Festival and the 2019 silver medalist of the Aula de Flamencología from the city of Cádiz. Currently, he is part of bailaor Eduardo Guerrero’s dance company, with whom he completed a 2018 tour throughout the United States.

Dancer Valeria Montes is known as La Chispa (The Spark) for her passionate and vibrant interpretation of cante flamenco and for her complex rhythmic zapateado. She began her dance studies at the age of 5 in her native Mexico studying ballet, baile folklorico, and gymnastics. She eventually moved to Spain immersing herself in the world of flamenco; she was very fortunate to study with legendary families and artists of flamenco.
